The results are in!

The results are in! Durham Charter School is thrilled to share the exceptional results of the 25-26 school year. We are extremely proud of our incredible teachers, leaders, parents, and most of all our outstanding scholars who have shown each and everyday that better is possible! We earned a 99.7% growth score and a school report card grade of 'B'.

Who We Are

Durham Charter School serves more than 1350 students, grades K-12, in Durham, North Carolina. We are the oldest public charter school in the state, a 2022 National Title I School of Distinction, and a 2023 YASS Prize Quarterfinalist. We exist to provide a world-class education for families in Durham who have historically had few high-quality options.
