ACADEMIC SNAPSHOT
Founded in 1997, Durham Charter School was the first charter in the state and is now one of the highest-performing charter schools in North Carolina. In the 2021-2022 School Year, we were the #10 highest-growth public school out of 2,500. We are now the #3 highest-performing charter school in Durham. In 24-25 our students outperformed the state in every measure of the EOGs. Additionally, every single one of the teachers exceeded growth with their students, performing in the top 1% of schools. In 25-26, we earned a "B", our highest school report card score in recent history.
